There are sure some fine e-boats on the market. Dennis Wolf's is a beauty, and the Grapeview point boats are too. This Spincraft is a very pretty little boat too. However, listening to the video on their site (http://www.spincraftboats.com/video/spincraft.wmv ) I was taken aback to hear them claim that while their boat will run on .9 liters per hour (gen set), a normal diesel boat of this size will use about 4.5 gals per hour. Really? I know of a 50' x 14' trawler that goes 7 knots on 4.5 gals/hr (671-N). Are they ignorant or just think that we are?

Am thinking of selling my 2006 Spincraft Silent 1. It's the basic model--no fancy woodwork. Same colors, trim, etc., as in picture at http://www.spincraf
