No I haven't done this.  There is a reason though, Jets require more power to do the same job as done with props.  Any Project I get involved with I want good results so chose better drive options.  I would suggest a prop project for a starter project because you will likely be more satisfied with longer range and better to wind performance, than you would get with a Jet drive.

Has anyone ever put an electric motor onto a jet drive system.
I have been working on this project for the past couple months, it has two jet drives systems attached to a small 16 ft boat. not quite sure how to do the math on what size motor is needed to get the boat up on plain.
I am also thinking of starting a video tutorial on the progress of this project.
after this small project I got my eye on doing a 32ft Trojan sport fisher, anyone do anything like this?
