[Electric Boats] Re: 13 Ton Steel Ketch.......Considering converting to an electric drive

 

I've done a fair amount of research on it (including on my own boat). My conclusions are here:

In summary - if you want to contribute to science, try regen.

I believe it *can* become practical - but we're not there yet.
