[Electric Boats] Re: 1969 33' Bristol electric sailboat on ebay

 

The vessel is "Steppin Out" - which is the only other electric I knew about (I always see her backside, so didn't recognize from the pics). It's really a very nice boat - I'm sure there will be some deck squishies to take care of, but no obvious problems otherwise. New sails, some paint, a little electrical, some plumbing, new sheets, about $10K and 1000 hours -- and she's good as new! :) (remember folks, this is first a boat...and then an electric boat...)

The cockpit layout is really nice for bay sailing - lots of room behind the tiller
