It just makes it overly complicated on a 32' ketch and a waste of solar generation. Plus, I would be SOL on cloudy days/weeks.
Do you know for a fact that the MSW inverter will work? I ask because you said should not will.

The charger should charge, no problem. But why not have a panel or two, and a charge controller, dedicated to charging the torqueedo battery directly?
