I use a dorm size ac box and run on the inverter when sailing have been for 3+ years works great (8years if you count the last boat) it draws about 4amps off the batteries about 20min every hour I use a 250watt solar sys to charge the house bank and can go for 3-4 days with out worrying about charging then I need to break out the genny The main problem I have is remembering to put the bungie cord up to keep the door from flying open when it gets choppy you cant believe where the eggs and milk will end up not pretty
