You don't need to fully discharge AGMs, this will in fact damage them. However, they will self-discharge possibly to a point where they are damaged. Talk to Sunelco or another Web solar company about an appropriate panel/charger for trickle charging your bank.

I believe it is Ni-Cads with their memory issues that need to be fully discharged, before recharging.
