While a little off topic, S-10 conversions typically pull more than 15kW to sustain 60 mph, more if they're hauling stuff like a generator around. But under acceleration, they often pull more than 300A at 144V. Most of the EV's that have small generators use them as range extenders, much like Mike's Honda 2000, or to recharge their batteries when parked.
