If you like projects, fine...I like to play around too. But if you want, craigslist.org has working trolling motors about 50# thrust for about $100.

I would turn the rascal into a cooler scooter to get the beer to the boat...

If you find a brushless 5 hp motor and a controller....AHHHHH there is a project.....
