Hi ravlegend,
The cruise 2 runs at 24 volts, and the cruise 4 at 48 volts. So
double the volts, double the power at the same amps.
I have a cruise 4 and it pushes my 43 trimaran nicely at about 6 and
half knots at full power. At 1500 watts (which the cruise is capable
of), it lopes along nicely at 4.5 knots.
these figures are from tests with the motor installed in a temporary
bracket for testing. I hope to have better figures soon now that the
motor is installed with the prop at the orrect clearance from the
hull, and flaps installed to streamline the hull around where the leg
protrudes from a well in the hull.
Cheers
Chris
