A couple of notes on that battery. The specified range is 3000km.
Let's assume 3000km at highway speeds of about 100kph. So call it 30
hours.
After this 3000km, the battery needs to be recharged... ideally at a
dealer since it doesn't recharge simply like lithium And, it would add
100kg to the weight of a Tesla.
So, every 30 hours of use, you would have to remove this battery from
your boat and bring it to a custom charge source.
From what I did read in the article, it sounds like a variant of the
zinc-air battery.
But since the zinc-air batteries are not rechargeable, this special
recharging may involve battery core replacement.
It's certainly interesting, but I don't think this applies to us at this
point or in the next few years.
