I'm in the process of upgrading my battery store and adding one or two additional 48V battery banks. The battery banks will be of different chemistries: one AGM and the other (two perhaps) Lithium. Because of space reasons was thinking that I should have separate banks and be able to switch between them when necessary. I also like this idea because it provides a simple metric for keeping track of power usage. Under the most simple scenario: after the first bank is done you know it's time to go back. This is just a hypothetical of course: I have never used up even 1/2 the capacity of my AGM pack on a daysail. Anyway I digress. The question is what is the best, cleanest way to switch between two or three battery packs?
Cheers,
Bradley
