Greetings and welcome Mark,

I too had the same issue with a motor I found in a yard sale.  I contacted Customer support at Minkota, and a tech emailed me the appropriate book.  He said they did not want to take the time to upload the many books they though few would ever use.  But I would suggest going to the site and doing the same thing.  It took them about 3 days to call me back.
Cheers,
Dan

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the group.  I also have a pontoon boat that I converted to electric a few years ago using a Torqeedo motor and am very happy with it.  I thought it would be easy to find information about your Minn Kota, but no such luck.  I found lots of ads but very little details.  The closest I came was on Minn Kota's Australian site.  www.minnkota.com.au has a community section which has a manuals section containing an e-drive user's manual.  It has some information repeated in various languages, but I suppose it is better than nothing.

Enjoy your boat,

Pat

Hello - I am new to the site and just purchased (pick it next week) a small used pontoon boat with a Minn Kota 48V 2HP propulsion system.  This will be my first experience with electric power on a boat.  Just wondering if anyone might have a PDF of an owner's manual for this motor which they could share. I've looked on-line and not been able to find one.  I believe it is a 2004, as that is the year of the boat, and it is the original engine.  Any other experience or advise which you may have for a newbie, would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks - Mark
