I thought the 7.1kW Battery Bank (useable) had an @ cost of $ 2500 usd ? The 2.5kW Energy required for @ 5knots on this @ 4800# Hull Design is @ 3 times less the Useable Storage Capacity of 7.1kW ?
What am I missing here Hannu ?

3 x power (to 7.1kW) is 7500 $, as its 3x2500.
And thats at low load - perfectl fine for normal use, imho, but no tow of course.
Always nice to read Eric's responses, and I believe I see @ 7 hrs at 5.2knots for AGM at @ $ 2500 usd Battery Supply ???
That would be the 7.1kW usable / 2.5kW needed , I used 3 x 143 minutes = 429 minutes = 7 hrs
Fine tuning this Marine Propulsion System to the best estimated worse case scenario, meaning environment and duration, is another matter
where adding power potential may be prudent, Skipper & Budget Decision.
