Hi all,
Just returning from my boat in Long Beach. My son and I had a very productive trip! Here are some pictures of how the rest of the installation went:

The coupling set screw was able to come right out due to the penetrant left on there for several weeks I suppose. After that, the coupling came right of with the puller, No heat. We had to build a new battery box for 2 of the new batteries where the gas tank used to sit. It's all glassed in and very solid. Once everything was in place and hooked up we went for a shakedown cruise around the harbor on the 4th of July.
everything worked great! We motored around for about 2 hours and went approximately 4 to 5 miles at speeds ranging from 3 to 7 knots. When we returned to the slip we had drained the batteries to about 79%.
So far I am very pleased with the electric Yacht kit and I cant wait to get back to the boat to spend more time on the water!
We are planning a trip to Catalina at the end of July so that will be a good test of the sailing charecteristics with the new prop and using a generator to recharge etc.
