I've tested mine with a 2400w fan heater. While I wouldn't want to run
it for long periods under that load, at least under short term load, a
Honda EU20i will cope with far higher transient loads with out stalling.
I was quite surpised the first time I flicked the 'high' switch and all
the Honda did was start making a deeper throb as the engine took up the
load - I was expecting the overload light to come one and the engine stop.
Since mine is EU20i and not a EU2000i (240v model), it's possible due to
the lower currents at twice the voltage, it copes with the 'abuse' a
little better, but I expect it has the same little engine driving it.
