Hi Mike
I too worry about battery terminal protection and terminals and connectors that are in the high amperage circuit for the electric motor.
In my latest work I use a combination of conductive grease on mating surfaces to protect them from oxidation. And then I like to paint over that with liquid insulation tape, or CRC battery terminal protector.
The battery terminal protector is a kind of waxy paint in a pressure pack can that is easily applied. I also found when having to remove and re-arrange some batteries that it was fairly easy to remove with a solvent such as metho.
Cheers
chris

Finally getting around to adding some more robust battery terminal protection. Could not find out exactly what I needed off the shelf so I had to modify some generic Blue Sea covers to make them fit:Capt. Mike
