[Electric Boats] golf cart parts

 

Is it feasable to try and use a old 36 volt motor off a ez go cart. If this has a 36 volt rating, can you push it to 48V. Looks like these motors need some convertions done to them. Any ideas out there. How do you know what size and displacement a motor is capable of pushing. Is there a general rule of electric power to diesel HP?
