The swan is the emblem of the EBA and EBAA, two established organizations that one may join. EBA- Australia has a cool design, too, the island of Australia as a boat with a propeller sticking out of it, just north or Perth.
I have to disagree about the lightening bolt. I hate the Nazis as much as anyone, but they didn't own the lightening bolt (the swastika yes, but the lightening bolt??) If you cross the lightening bolts the same way to look just like their emblem, that would be wrong, but a lightening bolt just signifies electricity.
Anyway, I know everyone has their own ideas about this, but if anyone wants to use the lightening bolt and trident as a sub-element in their own design for their own boat flag or whatever, please feel free to use the attached file. It can also be scaled and modified and you can add text or other logos over or under it, if anyone is interested.
