[Electric Boats] Torqeedo 1003 User Feedback

I am sponsoring a Torqeedo 1003L on a heavily used club sailboat (Cal2-24), and am happy with the:
1. thrust - 4.4 knots at full throttle on a 1968 Cal 2-24
2. the distance - 2nm at full throttle, 20nm at 2 knots
3. the GPS range calculations - set the throttle at a thrust level that allows you to reach your destination
4. the percent full indication - did it charge?

I am disappointed at Torqeedo's intolerance of ignorant users:
1. Tilt up lock lever is easy for an idiot to mangle.
2. Tilt down lock lever is hard for an idiot to find.
3. Orange safety interlock tab is easy for an idiot to overlook.
4. easy separation of tiller and motor is easy for an idiot to damage.
5. light duty wire connecting tiller to motor is easy for an idiot to damage.
6. glue affixing hand grip to throttle is easy for an idiot to dislodge or overpower.
