[Electric Boats] is there a maximum HP that is available in Electric Motor sizes for Outboards?

 

Hi , im going to convert a 1985 125 hp force outboard to an electric motor, Im pretty sure it will be a DC system, but i was wondering what size electric motor is best , and what is available for this type of outboard? If i can, i would like it to maintain its 30 knot top speed and handling. Has anyone done this kind of conversion? Is it reasonable for a DIY project? or should it be done by a shop.?
