[Electric Boats] Help on sizing Props

Hi, we are new to this forum and as others have said so happy we have found it, My wife and I are building a Dudley Dix 470 Cat down under in Oz , we are about 18 months into the project and about to turn hull 2, we have decided on going electric and have been talking with the guys from thunderstruck our current spec is below and we are just waiting for the thunderstruck guys to finish some testing before we place the order for the kits, we have selected a 48V system using the new Motenergy ME1616 PMAC Water Cooled drives which run at max 2000RPM, with 1.57: 1 reduction belt drives to the prop shafts, we are going to run solar as well as a gen-set back up for long hall.

My first question (am sure there will be more) is we have been advised to use a Flexfold 3-blade 17x13-3L/R propellers from the Boat designer, I contacted Flexfold, nice people, but they are unable to confirm electric drive prop sizes, can anyone point me in a direction of where I could get some help to minimise the risk of getting the wrong size props?

Thanks

Kel & Melissa Bryant
