[Electric Boats] Re: Electric Conversion-- 5500RPM-- Mechanical math Engineer needed

 

I think that he's looking for 5500 rpm at the electric motor, so that he can leave the converted outboard leg alone, using the original gear ratios and getting the same performance results as his 2 cycle powerhead. It really sounds like a simple gear or belt reduction set-up.
