[Electric Boats] Lithium costs

 

It's pretty easy to get this one wrong. The large Lithium cells are typically 3v, my 160Ah 48v bank is 16 batteries. Of course, wet cells and AGMs are typically 12v or 6v.

LiFePO4 batteries like the Thundersky offerings are usually at least 60% more expensive than high-end AGMs for the same voltage and rated capacity.

That said, Lithium batteries are also about 40% smaller in volume and 60% lighter than AGMs or wet cells.
