I am in the process of converting (removing engine now) and wondering if anyone has done a DIY based on Joseph Steinberger's article in Good Old Boat. I love the simplicity of the setup. My boat is an Allied Chance 30/30 at 12,500 lbs. but don't need much motor, just to get in and out.
