If the motor has been submerged in saltwater it is best to submerge in clean water, then distilled water.  Submerging the motor in oil of any kind will displace the water in most places with one exception, the bearings.  LPS-3 is designed to displace the water, so the same thing can be done in used motor oil if you have some handy.

Polish the armature, put new brushes in the motor, and replace the bearings and it should run without any problems. This of course depends on how long it has set in the bottom of the drink.
