Admittedly, there's quite a space between the pulleys on my set-up but that's only because I wanted room to play around a bit and experiment. You could close the gap between them easily to get it to fit your boat. Let me know how much space you have to work with and maybe we can figure out how to make it work. Remember, the pulleys are just creating a drive ratio so you don't have to use the same wheels. I just happen to have a lot of room. Drop me a line, I don't mind sharing what I've got.
