As Eric mentioned there are a lot of variables between different boats based on their specs. I installed an ASMO Marine Thoosa 9000 system bought from NGC Marine on my 30 foot 8 ton sailboat. I installed it 2008. I've been very happy with the purchase and the install was pretty much turn key. I did have someone with more fiberglass skills than I have come onboard to do some rebuilding of the engine stringers because it was replacing V drive transmission setup. My unit it is equivelient of a 9HP. Unfortuntely, I was not been able to do extensive testing last year because my Zantrex battery meter display failed. But, that did not stop me from going on a 140 mile cruise. I am hoping to do more extensive testing next season.
