Hello to all as I introduce myself, I'm Joe Babcock of Babcock Boatworks, Plantersville, Texas...Twenty plus years ago, I became a boat builder, first designing and building the Graceful Ghost, a 50', steam operated sternwheel paddle boat using the cold molded system. Twenty years later she still proudly gives tours on the ghostly waters of Caddo Lake. One of the last steam operated vessels carrying passengers in the world.
I am now about to embark into a new adventure of building Mini Tugs, electric powered. While trying to keep under 14', I am earnestly trying to learn all I can as I embark on this endeavor. I would especially like to tie solar charging into the design. As the set up and constructioin begins, I will post perodicals of the progress. Thanks for your help and advise...Joe
