JN,

The Minn-kota http://www.minnkota motors.com/  four bank charger is the best I have found so far. You just hook it up to every other battery pair in the string. You will have four twelve vote batteries as far as the charger knows. They have a 10 amp and 15 amp version. The disadvantage for me is that they are heavy but they are more efficient than some of the lighter weight ones.

Hello, Does anyone have experience hooking up eight x 6 volt batteries in series to acheive 48 volts. My question is how have you set up the 110 volt battery chargers? How many chargers and of what size? What does the wiring diagram look like? Do the batteries have to be isolated for charging?
Thank you, in advance, for any input.
JN
