Re: [Electric Boats] Anybody heard of a Canadian company called Regen Nautic?

Yes...Heard of them, thier product is clean and made for LARGE ships. The computer interface is cool but the problem with it is if it dies...so do you. They may have a future but they have no past experience. In the water...only experience makes it work. All the engineering that apparently went in (and a good start...I might add) has yet to be tested.
And I hope they make thier price affordable. People don't think green if its actually costing green.

Has anyone heard of this company? They appear to be a new player in the market. I believe they are using "proven" technology - that is technology that has been used in other applications - namely running hybrid busses. Here is their website: http://www.regennau tic.com/index. html. I'd be interested in any feedback or opinions that the group has.

They are interesting to me b/c we are in Palm Beach County now and they are right in our back yard (Ft Lauderdale)
