Re: [Electric Boats] Anybody heard of a Canadian company called Regen Nautic?

If you need a 50kw to 200kw drive system for your Grand Banks trawler,  UQM has been making space-grade product for many years. If you feel that a 100kw genny would be a tight fit in your 30ft'er, you might be better off with a more conservative approach.

Check out www.silentrunningsystems.com, located in St. Augustine. Dave has been doing beta testing with his Hunter 30 and would be glad to offer a tour and a demo ride.

Subject: [Electric Boats] Anybody heard of a Canadian company called Regen Nautic?

Has anyone heard of this company? They appear to be a new player in the market. I believe they are using "proven" technology - that is technology that has been used in other applications - namely running hybrid busses. Here is their website: http://www.regennau tic.com/index. html. I'd be interested in any feedback or opinions that the group has.

They are interesting to me b/c we are in Palm Beach County now and they are right in our back yard (Ft Lauderdale)
