[Electric Boats] ZENIT yacht design. CHILL-Cat, sustainability, circular economy

Hola, hello, kaixo!

My name is Borja, 27 year old, I am involved in my "yacht and powercraft design degree" project.

Based on sustainability, ciclycal economy, green concep...

It is a 40 ft charter catamaran.

Electric propulsion to consider:

BELLMAN

SOLOMON techonologies

STYER

SOLIDNAV

Batteries

LITIUM Vs AGM (planing a 10 year study)

Energy sources

Set of solar roof

aerogenerator (+top mast turbine)

Regeneration

(max range 180Nm day, max trip 7 days)

To consider: GENSET 15kw or Fuel cells (considering again a 10 year range)

Hull construction is based on aluminum considering the life cycle of the product (cradle to cradle theory) asuming a 4 year reasembling after the bussiness life of the charter boat.

Considering a resources based economy the depreciation translated to the lifespan of the material (in this case Al) is the point for the metal construction selection.

Sustainable, considering the cycle of the materials used and their posible recyclying and the points in which i decide the aluminum for the hull.

Openbridge deck (less structure), sides bonding to reduce windage, larger sail area and last fotovoltaic panel technologies.

This is what i know at the moment, i am surrounded of papers creating also a paralel cooperative for the construction in the future if the design make sense at the end...

It is a project, just this, and idea that i need to translate to a catamaran design and company creation so I present myself to this group hoping to adquire a lot of knowledge from all you ;)

Enjoy living & look foward

Buena proa
