We use a Magnum 48V inverter/charger in our boat which can charge the bank at 60 amps. About 30 amps with a EU2200i or a full 60 if you had two of them running.
I figure with just one EU2200i running I could motor at about 3.5 knots for as long as I had fuel. Noisy though.
