[Electric Boats] Re: Notes from Miami boat show

Doug,

All of the Ray electric outboards I have ever seen use a Curtis controller, and if anyone remembers the Lear 204 Electric Inboard (out of Newport Beach, CA) they used an Alltrax controller. Both were brushed motor applications.

The Propulsion marine drive system that I installed uses the Sevcon Gen4 controller to manage a Motenergy (was Mars Motors) ME0913 PMAC motor. The Sevcon Gen4 controllers are much more advanced that the older Millipak controllers, properly configured, they run noticably cooler and have a more efficient throughput for PMAC motors.
