I like the "Green Power" 48V/50V 13kW units. At about $9000 US FOB Austria, they might be pricy but they seem like a good alternative. The less powerful "Green Force" 48V/50V 8kW units are a little more expensive ($11,400 US each), but it looks like they're using pod technology grafted to an outboard body, which may explain the higher cost. I wonder what the net costs in the US would be with "transport costs, insurance, VAT,customs clearance at destination, export documents, duties or taxes".
I bet that we'll see some of these in operating in the US before too long.
