That's quite encouraging to see: I've been taken somewhat aback by the
prices many companies want to charge for their 10kW and up motors. I
mean, I understand about having to charge a premium for low-volume
production, but... it's not like DC motors are a new invention, or a
one-off, hand-made item, and the prices I've been seeing are way outside
the "costs plus reasonable profit" box. The above is much more like it.
Eric, do you happen to have a write-up of your whole system anywhere?
I'd be very curious to know what you ended up with, as well as what you
might do differently (if anything) if you were starting from scratch
today.
