Joined the group last week. Live in eastern Ontario on the Rideau Canal System.
I am very active in wildlife photography and am very interested in getting a small
electric boat primarily for that use. Ideal features might include:-
- quite light for easy multiple launches
- prop system able to handle very shallow water and moderately heavy weeds
- reasonable lateral stability (for photography)
- only moderate speed and moderate range needed
- able to handle moderate but not heavy rough water
I would be very interested in suggestions re areas of research or specific makes
or models to explore.
