You don't want two different 'grounds', that could present another
different danger, having two different 'grounds' at different
potentials. Can be nasty. Especially when your the guy who has a hand on
each 'ground' and they are for some reason , different. Their potential
difference tries to even out via you.
(I've seen computer gear damaged by different 'earth potentials', when
the network cable connecting them crossed 'earthing systems', and the
earth potential was different in the two locations)
