We plug the Honda into our shore power plug and our Magnum 4kw inverter/charger then starts charging our 48V battery bank. It can charge at 60 amps but I set the shore power limit to 15 amps and the Magnum charges at about 30 to 35 amps when the Honda generator is running. With the new Honda EU2200i I might be able to get a bit more but even with this older generator, that is putting 1500+ watts back into the bank, which you could use while running the prop. Just a bit noisy...we would rather sail.
