Absolutely nothing personal.
My observation was only wrt commercial realities, nautical sector, and perceived risks, both actual and potential, wrt. the current small market in electric boats in the EU.
The higher the power in electric systems, the higher the voltage needs to be for "good" results.
Thus, the std 220V household power is "good" to 3-4 kW, 380 V 3-phase is good for upto 50-70 kW (industrial machine tools for example).
After about 70-100 kW, the cables start to get really thick.
Hannu,
Please don't take it personally, The comments about higher voltages on boats has been going on for years. Honestly I'm more excited about the BMS and Monitoring systems I have in this post than the High voltage issues which just came about (again). I'm glad that you recognize the advantages that HV systems have.
