Interesting to hear about the propeller data.
One more, perhaps inetresting, option:
I will soon be able to make propellers, at will, in 1 day.
The larger cnc mill will be able to handle large props (1200 mm squared
work area).
Alu will work fine for test props, and might work long term- since alu
sailboats last indefinitely.
The ability to generate props "free" (materials cost only), might allow
fast, cheap, development of much more suitable shapes, curves, and sizes.

Hannu,
Might you be able to create "throwaway" aluminum props for the purposes of data acquisition? Or, even better, email your CNC parameters to a local shop?
My prop can be changed in the water so it could be a continuous testbed without incurring haulout charges.
Not looking for free props here - just want to advance the science. :-)
I'd be happy to buy a set of props at cost (of the aluminum block) that could hopefully be created locally; avoiding customs duties, delays and bureaucratic overhead.
