[Electric Boats] Sevcon PMAC failures

 

As an owner of a Millipak PMAC controller I am concerned about the failures that have been reported to this group.

I understand that some of the failures have been preventable (corrosion issues, incorrect wiring, etc). Thanks to the group members that have reported these failures, it benefits the EP community.

I would like to know if anybody has had a Millipak PMAC controller fail in a correctly installed and previously reliable installation. I don't mean a controller that shuts down or cuts back output to protect itself, I mean a "suddenly failed and now is only good for a doorstop" type of failure.

Anybody have one die without cause?
