The sales brochure says that it's good for a boat up to 4 tons, so looks like you have a sweet deal there.

Hi I found a Torqeeo 4 for sale for $900 dollars so I bought it. It came with a Mariner Quad 4 with 4 deep cycle batteries. The person selling it didn't know if batteries were any good. Would this be a good system for a Bayfield 25 sailboat weighing 3500 lbs? Or should I sell Motor or charger. Could I charge the batteries with a portable generator while motoring to extend the range?
