Sister boat. His has a full palm frond canopy with 1 KW of solar panels on top. Trolling motor mounted on rear of table. His business plan is 4 peeps drinking while driving them around a calm sheltered bay. 20 minute trip total, then change crews. On a beach that cruise ship peeps are at maybe 4 hours total a day. Pretty popular so far, but trolling motor failures are taking time out of productivity. This picture during our 4th of July parade. About 80 residents on island maybe 75 in parade. I decided to be one of 5 spectators. Gotta love America.

Guys,This is from my buddy on Water Island, USVI. He's new on the list but this post didn't go through for some reason, maybe because of the pictures he attached? He's getting posts from the list though. He has a 12 foot cat called the "picnic table" which instead of a deck has a picnic table between the hulls. You sit on the hulls with your feet in the water. That's why he's talking waterjet versus a prop. He's had some close calls with people processing too much ethanol sliding off the boat and almost get into the prop of the trolling motors he's been using. He's done with trolling motors, he's on the third one in a year that I know of. He's made some epic voyages, several to the BVI (30 miles dead upwind in the tradewinds, 2-4 foot waves). He also uses the boat to run a "green" Dominoes Pizza delivery service to our small island from St Thomas. I believe he's running 2 T105s paralleled for 12v. I'm not sure if he has room or weight allowance for 2 more to get up to 48v. He's also totally on solar, no grid power on a beach. Please give him some help, he has an interesting boat that with y'alls input would be much better. Thanks,Jerry BarthSent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7.-------- Original message --------From: Kevin Wenk <kevin.wenk@yahoo.com>Date: 3/14/19 6:01 PM (GMT-05:00)Subject: Fwd: Propulsion system catamaran

Subject: Propulsion system catamaranHi group,
I was wondering if anyone knows where of a good type of water propulsion/water jet drive for a 12 foot catamaran with 1000 watts of solar power? I have 2 (12v) batteries in each hull. I want to get away from the trolling motors. Here are a few pictures. Any help would be great.
Thank you
Kevin
