Thanks for the follow up, Richard. You'd said earlier that your Alberg 30 is heavy, and that you run a 13 x 12 3-blade prop; that at 3 to 3.5 kts you're drawing about 20 amps; and that you can to about 4.5 hours at about that pace. Averaging 3.25 kts for 4.5 hours while drawing about half of your battery capacity (~100AHrs) seems to translate into a range of 14.5 nautical miles. I appreciate all the detail!
You also noted earlier using 3:1 gearing. What do you estimate your shaft RPMs to be?
