Reply, sounds like what I have to raise the snow plow blade on my 4 wheler  10 lbs =1lbs pressure
will check with my welder = good chane it would work
like the leaver idea better than pullies

A friend of mine in the Caribbean, who had built himself a biggish Piver
trimaran, had a 25HP outboard in a mid-ship well. He had an extended
version of a lift-lever system on it, with a nice big grip so that it
only took a couple of pounds of pressure to raise it out of the water (I
actually got to try it out; it was nice and easy.) According to him, the
only problem he had with it was the high fuel consumption.
