Re: [Electric Boats] EP Test data 2011

Steve:

Since I was maxing out the current limit of the Zivan NG-1 charger but, not of the Honda 2000 eu generator. My thinking was if I wanted to I could buy an additional  small 48 volt power supply to connect to the battery bank to provide a little more current when operating under a "hybrid" mode. Don't really feel the need for it but, it is something that seems easily  doable with an EP system using the Honda generator.

Finally got around to crunch some of the number data of a test I did earlier this season. Eric and others might be interested in taking a look:

Mike,
By adding an additional 48 volt 500 watt power supply into the mix I could obtain the results of pass number three and still be within the power limits of the Honda 2000 generator. Which is good to know if I ever feel the need to add one.

I wasn't sure where you were going with this. What were you thinking of  "adding ",?
