I got a very clear understanding that John did not find E-Prop justifiable, or practicable or financially sound.
The only conclusion I could draw was that he motors frequently and long distances.
I should have asked John, as opposed to drawing conclusions, I apologize for that in my haste.
Getting upset is a personal choice, Im not sure how you may know that John is upset Larry.
Actually, anyone on this E-Prop Forum or others might tend to make a stance when someone comments
that they do not find E-Prop justifiable, practicable or financially feasible without stating where that opinion comes from.
Everyone of your obvious statements are false Larry.
Im ending any reply to this thread here, and I encourage you both to further explain how E-Prop is not
practicable, justifiable, or financially feasible as I really need to understand your points of view on this subject.
I do sail, Hyannis Harbor/Lewis Bay mostly, NO ENGINE, very tight channel, busy, Ferries that will run you over because
of channel restrictions. I've been in "irons". I know the weather, the currents, the sandbars. However, if for any reason, I was to include a motor
into a sailboat, it would be E-Prop.

Subject: [Electric Boats] re ICE versus Electric
Don't get upset about what GHNBus posted about your comment.
It's obvious they are not a sailor as they would not have made the comment about your "motor boat that just happens to have sails".
It's also obvious they have never converted a sailboat from an ICE to EP as they would know that that path is not always an easy one.
It's also quite obvious that they tend to post reply's without fully reading or understanding the post they are commenting on.
