It may increase the efficiency, perhaps possibly even by double.
Lots of good examples re: propeller efficiency on SVSEEKER site
(building a Brent Swain 74 ft metal boat).
Differences with the same motor and controller were about 300% best to
worst results.
It wont increase the performance at all, as power = power.
Increased efficiency can give faster top speeds, or longer run times.
The details matter, a lot, imho.
